There’s so much to look forward to when we enter a new year. New opportunities, new possibilities, new styles, and new ideas to explore and make your own. A new year also brings with it a new Pantone Color Of The Year. And even though a few months have passed, we’re still excited about this year’s gorgeous Pantone shades!
At Hamra Jewelers, we offer jewelry for every color of the rainbow. Whatever color catches your eye, we have a stone that embodies it. If you’re looking for jewelry pieces that match this year’s Pantone colors, here are a few suggestions.
This year’s Pantone color isn’t one color but two: A blend of Pantone shades 13-5120 & 15-3919, Rose Quartz & Serenity! A balanced mix of warm rose tones with a cool blue color, it looks like the soft glow of a Phoenix sunset. While the lighter color of rose quartz has often been associated with femininity, the addition of blue Serenity makes it a gender neutral color.
Rose Quartz & Serenity pairs well with a variety of mid-tones and colors, which includes:
This blend also stands out from past Pantone colors for being a more subtle, airy shade. Whereas past Pantone colors like turquoise, emerald, marsala, and honeysuckle are more solid looking, Rose Quartz & Serenity are ethereal, hazy colors.
When it comes to diamonds, pink diamonds pair very well with the color of the year. Diamond rings, bracelets and necklaces made with rose-gold are a nice complement to your Rose Quartz & Serenity wardrobe. There’s also several watches, particularly our Patek Philippe models, that would look very handsome next to this blend of colors.
For colored stones, lighter shades would work best. Pink sapphires stand out as the perfect companion to Rose Quartz & Serenity, especially when it’s paired withsparkling diamonds. Aquamarine jewelry can help bring out the blues in the color blend, while golden pearls would add a nice splash ofcolor that would make for a great contrast. For the metal, you don’t just have to use rose gold: You can also opt for yellow or white..
